About

Epidural analgesia is a method used by injecting a local anaesthetic close to the nerves that transmit pain during labour. It is widely used as a form of pain relief during labour.

The painful impulse during labour can be blocked on administering this technique. The anaesthetic placed in the epidural space exerts an effect concentrating at a specific area. This blocks all kinds of sensation to varying degrees, depending on lowering the dose of anaesthetic which selectively blocks painful stimuli while preserving motor function.

Cloudnine specialists will elaborate and provide you with a clear picture of this technique through this ANC session.
